  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

The first step is an introduction and face to face meeting to discuss the scope of work and the preferred time frame for completion. The next step is a “site visit” to take measurements of the kitchen, bathroom or basement remodel. After that, (if needed), we will provide a detailed architectural drawing of your new space and a comprehensive list of the services we intend to provide with pricing in a detailed estimate. • What should I think about when asking about a remodel?

When asking about a new remodel project it is important to talk to your contractor about everything you envision when thinking about your new space. Make sure to include EVERYTHING you are thinking even if it seems silly. Many times, homeowners will leave out things or not mention them because they are afraid it will be too expensive or take too long. Ask questions! We have completed hundreds of kitchen remodels, hundreds of bathroom remodels, hundreds of fireplaces, flex spaces and much more. We have completed dozens of basement finishes and have provided and installed more flooring and interior finish spaces than we could possibly count. Trust us and our years of experience to help you complete your next dream remodel.

  • How long will my remodel take?

The time it takes to complete your remodel project really depends on the scope of work involved. A small bathroom remodel with a new custom shower pan, tiled walls and tiled floor would take approximately two weeks. A complete basement finish with drawings, framing, insulation, drywall, painting, permits, inspections, new cabinets, granite/ quartz countertops, trim carpentry, windows and doors, etc. would take about 3-4 months. There are many contributing factors when estimating the time it will take on-site. Next Level Finish takes pride in the timely delivery of your next remodel project. When you schedule with us, we mobilize and focus on YOU!

  • How can I give my space a new look without completely remodeling it?

Many kitchen remodels involve removing walls and re-imagining the space. Sometimes a kitchen remodel can be just replacing countertops or re-facing cabinet faces. A bathroom remodel project can involve tearing out walls and reconfiguring shower spaces, removing a shower base and pouring a custom shower pan, adding heated floors and updating the space with custom tile, luxury vinyl plank flooring, new vanity cabinets, new countertops, new shower glass, mirrors and more or you can simply re- tile the wet areas and add a fresh coat of paint. The possibilities are endless.

  • How should I prepare for a kitchen cabinet refacing project?

If your kitchen remodel includes cabinet refacing, most likely the doors and drawer fronts will be removed and refinished off-site. The cabinet box faces will be refaced on-site. It is important to remove all items in the top drawers and anything else you don’t want exposed or open without doors and drawer fronts. With this being said, Next Level Finish always takes great care in protecting your personal items during your kitchen or bathroom remodel project.

  • If I do decide to completely remodel my space, what decisions are involved in this?

The first decision to make is always to choose a trustworthy remodel contractor. Check references and read reviews. The next decision is to decide what the scope of work will be and set a budget range. Its good to have a baseline and then a budget limit. Next Level Finish can help you with so that when you receive pricing you can decide how much or how little to do. After you hire us we will openly communicate what and when and what decisions need to be made to successfully complete your remodel project in a timely manner an on budget.

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

When it comes to remodeling your kitchen. Remodeling your bathroom space or designing and finishing your basement, there will most likely be a wide range when it comes to pricing. A basement finish for example can be very simple, one room. Four walls and a concrete floor. Or, it can be an amazing space with a full kitchen/wet bar, several bedrooms, a large recreation area, a full 5 piece bathroom suite with a steam shower a dry sauna and anything else you can imagine. The price range for these two projects would be vastly different even if the square footage is the same. Next Level Finish always strives to offer the best value. Not always the cheapest price. Our craftsman have decades of experience and we take pride in our work. We charge a fair price that offers the best overall value and “bang for your Buck”.

  • Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

This past summer we had some great clients referred to us through a previous client in Fort Collins Colorado. This young family had an unfinished basement space that they wanted to finish. This basement was a challenging space with some structural elements to cover, underground plumbing to be moved and some very challenging HVAC elements to bring the space up to code and to pass inspections. The homeowners had some ideas about what they wanted. A full bathroom with custom shower pan, tiled walls and floors, vanity top with butcher block and vessel sink. They wanted an extra bedroom with a walk in closet/ storage area. They wanted a full kitchen/ wet bar area with quartz countertops, brand new cabinets, plumbing fixtures and appliances. They wanted a pantry area where they could store extra kitchen items. They wanted a recreation area with a large home theatre. They wanted some special design elements like a barnwood accent wall and box beam details. We started with several sketches of the space and landed on a solid floor plan. We drew up permit submittable plans that included a 3-d rendering of the space. Upon approval of the plans from the building department the basement finish project took about three months from start of framing to final inspection. We came in on budget and we exceeded the clients expectations which is always our goal.
